Why owners choose Quarry
- 01
Nothing identifiable leaves
De-identification runs inside your environment before export, and you approve a sample before anything is listed.
- 02
You set the terms
Exclusive or non-exclusive, permitted use, territory, term, and the buyers you exclude.
- 03
You get paid per licence
A revenue share on every licence, paid on the schedule in your supplier agreement.
Your terms, set in one sitting
Pick who can license, for what, where and for how long, and who never can. Each choice is written into your supplier agreement and every licence that follows. Point at a lane to open it; the excluded lane stays shut.

How it works, station by station
Apply, clear, list, get paid. Data leaves your systems only de-identified, and a rights problem takes the return track back to review instead of ending the deal.

Questions owners ask
Short answers here. How de-identification, rights review and takedown work is in the trust center.
Read the trust centerIt depends on what your customers or patients were told when the data was collected, the contracts you hold, and the law where the data was created. Our rights review looks at your notices, consent terms and contracts before anything is listed, and where they fall short we say so plainly and suggest what would close the gap. Nothing is licensed until that review is clear.
No one outside your organisation sees raw data: de-identification runs inside your environment. Labs first see a deal sheet that describes the dataset without naming you. Only a lab that signs an NDA can request a de-identified sample, and only a lab that signs a licence receives the dataset. You approve the sample that represents it.
Yes. When you set terms you can list buyers or categories of buyer you exclude, and choose whether a licence is exclusive or non-exclusive. Exclusions are written into your supplier agreement and every licence that follows.
That's common, and it's what the rights review is for. Tell us what you hold and how it was collected; we'll walk through ownership, notices and client contracts with you. If the rights aren't clear, the journey loops back to fixing notices or contracts rather than ending.
A licence grants a buyer permission to use a de-identified copy; it doesn't transfer ownership of your archive. Your own use continues as before. An exclusive licence limits who else you can license the same data to, for the term you agree, which is why exclusivity is always your choice.
